The Arrows library is a self standing piece that supports itself by its boomerang-like shape. Its curved structure allows it to be placed freely in space without the necessity of wall support or fixture. The library is made as a stackable system of massive oak shelves that can resist heavy weight while maintaining an open expression. Each shelf is inclined into a symmetrical arrow-shaped extrusion that can both support and be supported
The stability of each shelf is increased by charged weight thanks to the curve load distribution. The shelves are bent inwards which allows an intimate capsule-like experience of discovery. The principe can be applied in various shapes and height. The library is manufactured by European high-end wooden staircase masters.
