The ‘Bruissement’ screen is an original drawing inspired by the 18th century ancient techniques preserved and respected by the family company ‘de Gournay’. Hand painted as a wallpaper and installed on folding screen, the motif depicts a forest canopy pierced with sunlight. The loose, energetic brushwork of the eastern painting style combine abstract vision of a majestic European woodland with thought provoking contemporary display of nature.
